These Terms of Service and Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your download, installation, and use of Workflow (“the App”), a desktop application provided by Rushes LTD as part of the Rush Mind product family. The App is currently provided without paid feature locks; a future release may introduce optional serial licensing for some features.

By downloading, installing, opening, or otherwise using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.

These Terms apply to everyone who tries the App, including people who are only “having a look”, evaluating it, or using it casually.

Who we are — Rush Mind & Rushes LTD

Rushes LTD develops creative-technology and production tools. Rush Mind is the product line under which Workflow and related tools are published.

Workflow is created, maintained, branded, and distributed by Rushes LTD under the Rush Mind product line.

Registered company in the United Kingdom (Rushes LTD). Website content and company details on rushes.digital / rushmind.co.uk may be updated from time to time; if anything here conflicts with a later notice published by Rushes LTD, the later notice may apply for future downloads.

Licence

The App is currently offered free of charge for personal or organisational use, subject to these Terms. All planning tools in this build are unlocked.

A future release may introduce optional serial licensing for some features, issued by Rushes LTD / Rush Mind. Until then, entering a serial in Preferences does not activate or restrict anything.

“Free” does not mean “without rules” — you still accept the risks and limitations below.

Unless Rushes LTD gives written permission, you must not sell the App itself, claim you created it, remove copyright or credit notices, or redistribute modified versions as if they were official Rush Mind releases.

You may share the official download link or installer obtained from Rushes LTD / Rush Mind channels. Prefer signed/notarised builds when available.

Risk platform — use at your own risk

Workflow is a risk platform: you use it entirely at your own risk.

The App may store outlines, notes, attachments, imports, voice notes, credentials you choose to save locally, and other project content on your computer (and in folders you select). You are solely responsible for backing up that data, choosing secure storage locations, and deciding what you put into the App.

The App may connect to services you configure (for example websites, APIs, connected table tools, email, folders, or update servers). Those connections are made at your direction and risk. Rushes LTD is not responsible for third-party outages, data loss, incorrect imports, or misuse of tokens/passwords you store.

Features such as speech recognition, translation, PDF/CSV import, and automation helpers are provided as convenience tools. Output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for safety-critical, legal, medical, financial, or compliance decisions. Always verify important results yourself.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you accept that using this freeware may result in data loss, downtime, Gatekeeper/security prompts, or other issues, and that you proceed voluntarily.

No warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Rushes LTD and Rush Mind do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or compatible with every Mac, workflow, or third-party system.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable UK law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Where liability can be limited, it is limited to the maximum extent permitted.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rushes LTD, its directors, employees, contractors, and Rush Mind shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, business opportunity, or production delay arising from your use of (or inability to use) the App.

Because the App is freeware provided at no charge, if any liability is found despite these Terms, the total aggregate liability shall not exceed £0 (zero), or the minimum amount required by mandatory law if zero is not permitted.

You agree that downloading and using freeware from the internet involves inherent risk, and that you assume that risk.

Data on your machine

By default, Workflow is designed to keep your project content on devices and folders you control. Choosing a custom data or cache folder is your responsibility.

Optional features (live imports, voice transcription via Apple frameworks, update checks against Rush Mind servers, link previews, etc.) may send or receive data as needed for that feature. Review your Preferences before enabling network or credential features.

Rushes LTD does not claim ownership of the creative or production content you create inside the App.

Security & certification

Rushes LTD may distribute builds that are Apple Developer ID signed and notarised so macOS Gatekeeper can treat the App as checked by Apple’s notarisation service. Notarisation is a malware-scanning / distribution trust process — it is not a guarantee that the App is free of bugs or that your projects are insured.

Always download Workflow from official Rush Mind / Rushes LTD channels when possible. Treat unknown mirrors as untrusted.

Updates

The App may check https://www.rushmind.co.uk/apps/workflow/Updates for updates. Installing an update is intended to replace the application binary only and to preserve your configured data and cache locations. You remain responsible for verifying important work after updates.

Rushes LTD may change, pause, or discontinue updates or freeware distribution at any time.

Acceptable use

You must not use the App to break the law, infringe others’ rights, distribute malware, attempt to compromise systems you do not own or administer, or misrepresent affiliation with Rushes LTD / Rush Mind.

You are responsible for complying with workplace policies, client NDAs, and data-protection rules that apply to your projects.

Changes to these Terms

Rushes LTD may update these Terms when the App is updated. The in-app Terms version (1.0.3 for this release) is shown where you accept or review them. Continued use after you are asked to accept a newer version means you agree to the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country say otherwise. Courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction.

If any part of these Terms is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

Your acknowledgement

By selecting “I agree” (or equivalent) in the App, you acknowledge that: (1) Workflow is provided by Rushes LTD / Rush Mind without paid feature locks in the current build; (2) it is a risk platform used at your own risk; (3) there is no warranty; (4) you have had a chance to read these Terms in the App before relying on the software.
